Make a final post. Announce that as of today’s date or a specific date, you will no longer post there. Thank your supporters sincerely for all the support they’ve given you on that platform. It’s been a journey.

Remind them one last time that you’d love to have them on Patron and include the link prominently.

This farewell post should ideally be public so even non-members who stumble on your page see it. Pin the post. It’s essentially the sign on the door that says “We’ve moved, find us at our new address.”

Message remaining members directly if feasible. Platforms typically have a messaging system or you can filter for active members. If only a small handful of supporters haven’t moved, you might send them a polite direct message before closing, just to ensure they got the memo.
